The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Software Test Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their testing career. This role is ideal for someone with up to 3-5 years of experience in software testing who has worked in no more than two companies during that time, and is now looking for greater responsibility, ownership, and technical growth.
You will work in a small, collaborative engineering environment where your ideas and initiative will have real impact. The role combines manual and automated testing, helping improve our testing systems while working closely with developers and support teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans
- Design, create, and maintain manual test cases
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute manual and automated test cases
- Enhance existing PowerShield testing systems and processes
- Create and maintain test documentation
- Provide testing-related support to the Technical Support team
- Provide status updates to your leader
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team
- Ensure accurate time recording
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing
- Experience working in no more than two companies in your testing career
- Ability to write test cases and test plans
- Experience with automated testing using SQL, Python, or C#
- Ability to derive test scenarios from minimal requirements
- Strong exploratory testing skills through interaction with teams and software
- Basic Windows system administration skills
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Basic understanding of communication interfaces and device networking
- Experience using Jira
- Experience with Xray or similar test case management systems
- Self-managing and proactive
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality
- An excellent problem solver
- A collaborative team player
- Inquisitive and eager to learn
- Willing to take ownership and responsibility
