We’re working with a growing ‘Kiwi success turned global technology company’ to recruit a Customer Support Technician to join their Auckland-based team.
With around 50 employees globally and approximately 20 based in New Zealand, the business offers the benefits of a small, collaborative company environment with international reach. This role sits within a close-knit technical support team that works with colleagues and customers across the US, UK, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
This is a junior-level opportunity offering a mix of technical support, product troubleshooting, reporting, documentation, and internal IT assistance, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem solving.
The Role Working alongside experienced team members, you’ll help support global internal teams and customers with product-related technical queries and operational support tasks.
Responsibilities - Managing and progressing technical support tickets
- Assisting with basic hardware and software troubleshooting
- Supporting internal teams across multiple international offices
- Preparing customer reports and data analysis related to product performance
- Reviewing returned hardware and documenting potential faults
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation, manuals, and training resources
- Providing general internal IT support, including Microsoft 365 and user support (40%)
- Working with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer issues are resolved
This role is not a call-center helpdesk environment. Instead, it’s a varied technical support position where you’ll contribute across several areas of the business. There is an option to work 25 hours if suitable.
About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys technology and learning how systems work. You might come from an IT support; A hands-on technical background; Or simply have a strong personal interest in technology and enjoy tinkering on software or hardware.

- Confident asking questions and speaking up when unsure
Formal qualifications are not essential – attitude, curiosity and communication skills are more important.
