The Role:

This is not your typical delivery-only engineering role.
You’ll work closely with clients to assess, shape, and improve data platforms, providing both technical expertise and strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data platform assessments, including:
  • Architecture and platform setup
  • Data modelling approaches
  • Engineering best practices and frameworks
  • Branching and version control strategies
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve scalability, performance, and alignment to business goals
• Engage with stakeholders to influence data direction and best practices
• Operate in a consultative, client-facing environment

Tech Stack

• Core: Snowflake, DBT, Coalesce
• Supporting: Fivetran, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric (nice to have)

• Data engineering fundamentals
• Data modelling and transformation
• Modern analytics platforms

About You

• Senior Data Engineer with strong technical depth and emerging architectural capability
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, problem-solving environments
• Highly consultative with strong communication skills
• Able to influence stakeholders and drive better data practices
• Curious, proactive, and eager to continuously learn

Bonus experience:

• Data science, AI / GenAI, or advanced analytics exposure
• Python, R, or GIS
