Intermediate to Senior Account Manager – Data & Analytics

Are you an experienced Account Manager who understands the world of data, analytics, and enterprise consulting?

We’re partnering with a growing Auckland-based data and analytics consultancy looking to bring on a senior-level Account Manager to take ownership of several key enterprise customers across financial services and government.

This is a relationship-led role focused on growing and retaining existing accounts, building trusted partnerships, and helping clients maximise value from modern data and analytics solutions. You’ll work alongside highly skilled consulting and engineering teams delivering projects across cloud data platforms, analytics, AI, and data transformation initiatives.
The business partners with industry-leading technology vendors including Microsoft, Snowflake, dbt and many more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts
• Building long-term relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to expand consulting, analytics, and data platform services within existing customers
• Acting as a trusted advisor across data and analytics initiatives
• Working closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure strong customer outcomes
• Supporting renewals, commercial conversations, and overall account success
• Occasionally contributing to new business opportunities where relevant

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Client Partnerships within technology or consulting environments
• Strong exposure to selling or managing data, analytics, cloud, or digital services
• Experience working with enterprise customers, ideally across financial services or government
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• A consultative, partnership-focused approach rather than a heavily sales-driven style
