We are looking for an Operational Technology Implementation Engineer to join an Auckland-based team. In this customer-facing role, you will act as a trusted technical authority, leading projects end-to-end and mentoring a talented team. You will bridge the gap between a customer’s operational reality and a technically excellent, commercially viable solution.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure flagship operational technology products.
Integrate third-party enterprise systems including Cloud Data Platforms, ERP, CMMS, and BI.
Design, build, deploy, and support real-time industrial applications using time-series historians.
Provide second- and third-line technical support for deployed solutions.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and unblocking support to intermediate and graduate engineers.
Essential Skills & Experience
3-5 years’ experience in industrial, energy, utilities, or other process-oriented environments.
Hands-on experience with time-series historian platforms such as AVEVA PI, Canary, Aspen IP21, or InfluxDB.
Strong SQL skills and scripting capability in PowerShell or Python.
Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and manage delivery.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex, production-level issues.
