The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established Christchurch-based engineering business looking for a Project Delivery Manager to lead a high-profile product engineering programme.
This role will suit someone who can bring structure, visibility and momentum to complex technical delivery. You will work closely with senior engineers, build realistic bottom-up plans, manage dependencies, identify risks early and provide clear updates to leadership.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading delivery across a cross-functional engineering programme
- Managing project plans, milestones, risks and dependencies
- Working closely with engineers to build realistic delivery plans
- Providing clear, evidence-based updates to senior stakeholders
- Supporting both new product development and ongoing product enhancement
- 5+ years’ project or programme delivery experience in a technical environment
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering programmes
- Exposure to hardware, mechanical, embedded firmware or systems engineering
- Strong planning, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Calm, structured and credible approach under pressure
- Experience in a product, engineering or regulated environment would be highly regarded
