We're partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Officer to join their finance team.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts receivable function while working closely with both internal stakeholders and customers.
About the Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable and credit control function, ensuring customer accounts are managed accurately and payments are collected on time.
Key responsibilities include: - Managing the full Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function
- Collecting outstanding payments and resolving customer account queries
- Raising invoices, processing credit notes and customer refunds
- Reconciling customer accounts and allocating payments
- Managing direct debit processing and reporting
- Liaising with external debt collection agencies where required
- Processing manual invoices and general journals
- Preparing finance reports and maintaining accurate records
- Building strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment and exceptional service
About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous experience within Accounts Receivable or Credit Control and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment.
You'll ideally have: - Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or similar finance position
- Strong reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently
- An accounting qualification, or currently working towards one, will be viewed favourably
- Experience within financial services, payments or another transactional environment is advantageous
