Get to know me

Being born and raised in Christchurch, I studied Media, Communications and Political Science at the University of Canterbury, with a six-month exchange at the University of Helsinki along the way. After university, I worked across customer-facing, technology, and technical writing roles before finding my way into IT recruitment, where my love of tech and a genuine interest in people's stories finally lined up in the same role.

I've joined RWA as a Senior Consultant because of the team and the way they go about things; doing recruitment the right way, with candidate and client goals at the centre of every conversation. Being part of growing the Christchurch office alongside such a talented team across the country was too good an opportunity to pass up. Over 5+ years in recruitment I've developed a real niche in the Software and Data space, and while I've worked across pretty much every corner of the technology market, that's where I'm most at home. What drives me is really simple; helping people find roles that match their growth ambitions, and helping awesome clients and businesses build the teams they need to do their best work. I always take a relationship-first approach and would rather have an honest conversation about fit than push a square peg into a round hole. Whether you're hiring, actively job hunting, or just curious about what's happening in the Ōtautahi tech scene, I'm always up for a chat.

Outside of work, I am obsessed with food and am always on the hunt for the best restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs Christchurch has to offer (recommendations always welcome and given!). You'll also find me running in the Port Hills or around Hagley Park and the Avon, out on the water for Avon Rowing Club, kicking a football around, or yelling at my TV watching Manchester United. I'm pretty sport-mad in general: football, rugby, league, basketball, cricket… and a bit of a video game habit on the side.
