The Opportunity
Our client is a private New Zealand tech company, specializes in developing top-tier software for niche industries. They have a rich and highly successful history spanning 30 years, the company maintains a small, effective, and passionate team with operations in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and the USA. The company is experiencing substantial growth in demand both domestically and internationally and is now looking to hire a Front-End Developer to help them create dynamic, high-performance user interfaces for their cloud-native platform.
As a Front-End Developer, you will play a key role in a significant migration project by helping to refactor a series of successful applications into a contemporary web-based, microservices-focused architecture. Although knowledge of Delphi is not necessary, AI-powered tools will aid in code translation and refactoring, so an interest in AI-driven development acceleration is highly desirable, with hands-on experience preferred.
This opportunity allows you to influence the frontend experience of a top-tier platform while working with cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native frameworks. This role is located in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and responsive UI components using Blazor WebAssembly, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Frontend Architecture & Performance Enhancement: Guarantee well-organized, robust, and highly efficient client-side applications.
- Collaborate with backend developers to connect front-end elements with RESTful APIs, message queues, and cloud-native services. Cooperate with Solutions Architects, UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps teams to provide cutting-edge front-end solutions.
- AI-Driven Development Speedup: Utilize AI-driven tools like GitHub Copilot to streamline coding processes, speed up development, and improve maintainability.
- Implement best practices, perform code reviews, and uphold high-quality standards across all development activities. Adhere to industry security standards and design accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
Your Background :
- Blazor WebAssembly (WASM): Practical experience in crafting frontend applications utilizing Blazor for contemporary UI development.
- React & JavaScript/TypeScript: Extensive proficiency in React.js and JavaScript frameworks, with the ability to integrate React components into Blazor projects when needed.
- AI & Automation: Familiarity with AI-driven development processes, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and performance tracking is preferred
- Frontend Microservices Architecture: Skilled in working with modular, component-based architectures in a cloud-native setting.
- API Integration: Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and the use of asynchronous messaging through Message Queues.
