Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Talent Manager to join our growing team in Auckland. This is a critical role focused on identifying, attracting, and engaging top IT talent for a variety of technical roles across our client base. A strong background in IT recruitment within an agency environment is essential for success in this role to hit the ground running. We would also consider someone with a technical engineering background who is interested in starting a career in recruitment for this role.

What will you be doing?
Joining our Talent Management team, you’ll ultimately be responsible for building relationships and engaging with technology talent (candidates) both locally and overseas to discuss amazing job opportunities with our clients. Social media and your smartphone will be your best friends, as you use them as key communication channels to attract and screen potential candidates.
The role of Talent Manager has evolved over the last few years and is now seen as the most critical role in every recruitment business. This role allows you to be an instrumental playmaker in the recruitment process without worrying about sales and relationship management. You can have a career in Talent Management or progress into a client-facing role in the future – the choice is yours!

Some of your responsibilities include:
- Sourcing talented tech candidates through databases and online searches to match client requirements and/or building talent pools
- Writing and managing job advertisements and responses
- Interviewing/screening candidates for client vacancies
- Preparing candidate resumes
- Administering core systems to ensure that systems and processes are followed and data is accurate
- Liaising with candidates and keeping them informed of the next steps
- Conducting reference checks, police, and other relevant checks
- Database management
- Managing online user groups
- Post placement candidate care
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in IT agency recruitment or someone with a previous technical background wanting to start a career in recruitment (e.g., Software developers, testers, infrastructure engineers, etc.)
- A passion for the tech and digital space is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with recruitment tools like Job Adder, Seek Talent, and LinkedIn Recruiter is beneficial to hit the ground running, but it is not necessary
- Team player who wants to have a fun and rewarding career
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
