We are seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to establish and lead testing activities from initiation through to successful completion. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, hands-on testing capability, and the ability to build testing frameworks and governance from the ground up.
You will play a critical role in ensuring quality delivery across POS device rollouts, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the test strategy, test plans, and governance framework from scratch.
• Lead end-to-end testing, including hardware, software, and integration layers.
• Manage all test phases: SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and device certification.
• Coordinate with vendors, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure test coverage and alignment.
• Establish traceability between business requirements and test scenarios.
• Drive defect management lifecycle and reporting, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide clear test reporting, quality metrics, and go-live readiness assessments.
• Manage stakeholder communications, risks, dependencies, and testing timelines.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation validation.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Test Lead or QA Lead delivering testing from concept to completion.
• Good to have experience with POS devices and/or POS system implementations but not mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to engage technical teams and business leaders effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
