Our client is a competitive name in the New Zealand market. They are looking to add a Data Modeller into their roster in Auckland, with skills in Data Modelling, Power BI, and Google Cloud. This is a Contract position, with an aim to start soon due to various projects they are hoping to continue. We’re looking at an initial 6 months, depending on how the project rolls over.

You’ll play a key role in shaping logical and physical data models, improving data consistency, and supporting downstream analytics, BI, and regulatory reporting.
  
What you’ll need to succeed:

• Designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Working with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust models
• Supporting dimensional modelling for analytics and reporting use cases
• Partnering with data engineers to ensure models are implemented effectively  

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in data modelling across enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball, star schema, snowflake)
• Experience working with cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and attention to data quality
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
