About the Role We're seeking an experienced Android contractor to join a key delivery squad enhancing a major digital product. You'll be contributing to a high-visibility feature that will directly impact thousands of users. The work is fast-paced, meaningful, and technically exciting.
You’ll be building in Kotlin with exposure to some legacy Java, following modern architecture patterns and secure engineering principles. The contract is ready to go, and the team is keen to onboard someone ASAP or January at the latest.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience building native Android apps
• Kotlin expertise + some Java familiarity
• Experience working in modern Android engineering environments
• Familiarity with Android SDK, MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture
• Understanding of secure development practices / OWASP
• Some iOS experience is preferred 
• Passion for quality, automated testing, and engineering excellence
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
