The Opportunity
Company Overview:
Our client is an MSP organisation providing cutting-edge network solutions to a diverse range of clients. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Network Engineer to join the dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:
As an L1/L2 Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our client’s networks. You will be responsible for providing 24/7 support, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing effective solutions to maintain high availability and reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art networking technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Provide round-the-clock support for network-related incidents, including troubleshooting and resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Conduct routine network maintenance activities like configurations, upgrades, and patches.
  • Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential issues, implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network designs, enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency situations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
  • Need to have experience working for an MSP
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal performance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly desirable.
